The relationship between Deion Sanders and Nike appears to be forged anew as according to reports, the football legend has signed with the Swoosh.
The current Colorado head football coach let the cat out of the bag in an Instagram post that showed him sitting with a pair of his Diamond Turf with the caption “we coming”
Coach Prime signed with the Swoosh in 1995, wearing them throughout his pLaying career on the gridiron and the diamond. Post-retirement Sanders had been an ambassador with Under Armour since 2009. While at Jackson State, he used that connection to the brand to secure a new UA apparel deal for the university.
His accepting the head coach position with Colorado, a long time Nike school , created a conflict with Sanders’ relationship with UA so this development comes as little surprise.
